The desert people of Vax Dracos worship the lesser god Scour. Once an Immortal Dragon, Scour found new power when he accepted the worship of mortals. While the dragons of Vax Dracos do not worship Scour, they do recognize a good thing when they see it, and have accepted the worship and adulation of the humans.

These temples are given over the worship of one particular dragon. This one in particular is located in the south-western portion of Vax Dracos, and is occupied by Frynwen, an ancient white dragon. As a white dragon would be most uncomfortable in these arctic wastes, a magical globe of sub-arctic temperature hovers over the temple, keeping the entire area (within 300 yards of the temple) well below zero.

The globe also acts as a portal; anyone entering the globe is immediately teleported thousands of miles north, to the heart of a large arctic island. Frynwen herself often uses this portal when she wishes to stretch her wings.
