     Deep in the hearts of the Northern Wastes of Alyndria lies the Mordreth Mountain range. Within this range, in an unknown and uncharted corner of the world lies an ancient device, which pre-dates the Sundering. This device sometimes acts as a portal to other realms; other times, it appears to be dead and lifeless. No one knows how to operate the device.

     The portal itself hovers some 250 feet above the ground, near a large, stone building. The building has housed various occupants over the years. It is currently held by the Assembly.
