The night time sky over the world of Tryll is indeed dark. No moons fly overhead; the sky is lit only by the light of the stars.

     However, a strange and beautiful phenomenon can be observed on this world. Shortly after dusk, and just before dawn, the light of Ashia is refracted around the edges of Tryll, creating a lovely bluish-white radiance, which hugs the horizon.

     Sometimes referred to as The Gateway to Idyllia, local legend has it that if one were to throw himself into it, he would be transported directly to the first planet, Idyllia. Sadly, this glow is only visible within 100 miles of the edge of the world. As the vast majority of inhabitants live well within the center, few indeed have ever seen this breath-taking sight.
